The Gambia Chamber of Commerce on Friday the 5th of October received a fresh new facelift. Elections took place for a new president and Board of Directors, in which I attended and casted my vote.
The GCCI board is a voluntary body in The Gambia that aims to help & promote the private sector. By building effective partnerships that will positively impact on the development of the private sector for sustainable development of the business community.
This year’s meeting was quite extensive due to the fact that there has been no annual meeting since 2006.This years Agenda focused on adopting new Agendas ,presentation & adoption of the President report, presentation & Adoption of GCCI accounts, arising matters by members & Election of new Board of Directors.

This is the new young board of the GCCI. The former President Mr.Bai Matarr Drammeh thanked members for confidence that was bestowed on him for the past six years. He also congratulated Mr.Jaggana as the new President of the GCCI.Mr.Jaggana assured members that he would endeavor to live up to expectations and promised to work very closely with all concerned to achieve the goals of the coming 3 years ahead of him.
