The Chain of Hope has been working in The Gambia since 2007, building local capacity and providing corrective heart surgery for more than 30 children from the clinics at the Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital and the MRC Unit, Gambia.
This represents only a small fraction of all those in need, but the lives of the lucky ones have been transformed by the charity’s work. If you would like to help sponsor, all you need to do is to go to http://www.justgiving.com/gambia-sandtosea press Donate and fill in the detail. It takes about 30 seconds.
The website and riders for this cause can also be accessed via http://gambia-sandtosea.blogspot.co.uk/p/the-riders.html. Any financial contribution however small would be really welcomed.
The Gambia, known as the smiling coast is an extremely resource poor country where the average monthly wage in paid employment is just £30.
