Ablie Jallow scores in Metz win against Valenciennes

Scorpions’ midfielder Ablie Jallow has scored during his French second division side Metz 2-0 home win against Valenciennes in their week-three fixtures of the French Ligue 2 played Saturday.

The 23-year-old opened the scoring in the 15th minute with a 25 yard shot before Georges Mikautadze doubled the lead in the 86th minute of the second half.

The Bundung-born player now scored his first goal for Metz in the new season after returning from a loan spell in Belgium at RFC Seraing.

This victory now returned Metz to winning ways after they got defeated in their previous fixture against Caen.

The win moved Metz to 5th position with 6 points after three games.

German side Metz will next play away to Laval in their week-four fixture on Saturday.
