Ambassador Prof. Kah endorsed for UN top job

The Board of Trustees, Directors and Advisory Councils of the Global South Economic Forum (GSEF) and the Africa Asia Scholars Global Network (AASGON), a signatory to the UN Global Compact (UNGC) and member of the UK Stakeholders for Sustainable Development (UKSSD) and the Global South Centre for Research Innovation Peace and Technology for Sustainable Development (G-SCRIPTS-D), have unanimously endorsed the candidature of His Excellency Ambassador Professor Muhammadou M.O. Kah, the Ambassador of the Republic of The Gambia to the Swiss Confederation and Permanent Representative to the UN Office at Geneva, World Trade Organisation (WTO), and other international organisations at Geneva, Switzerland for the Director of the UN ITU’s Telecommunications Development Bureau.

Addressing a selection of Media Chiefs including the President of the International Chapter of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), Dr. Sandeep Marwah, who is currently on official trip to London, the Founder and Group Executive President of GSEP and AASGON, Abdul Dewale Mohammed, expressed that with the vast knowledge, skills and excellent track record of Ambassador Prof. Kah, the UN will be making a decisive decision by appointing the Gambian ambassador to Switzerland, the new Director of the UN Telecommunications Department Bureau.
