The woman, who was found crying the next morning, said she and her family had to sleep outside under harsh conditions.

She added that they are currently without food and clothing as the disaster destroyed their food.

According to Binta, her children may likely not return to school because of her situation.

Alkalo and some village elders of Sey Kunda expressed sympathy with Binta and her family.

They appealed for assistance on behalf of the woman from the National Disaster Management Agency, private sector, individuals and anyone who can help for the construction of a new house, feeding, clothing and return of her children to school.
