Students bid farewell to Retired Islamic Teacher –

The school authorities and students of the Banjulinding Upper and Senior Secondary School, on Wednesday, bade farewell to its outgoing retired teacher, Mr. Omar Mbowe who had served the school for 21 years.

Addressing the outgoing retired teacher, Saikou Samusa highlighted Oustass Omar Mbowe’s commitment to the students and described him as a good role model of the school and a type worthy of emulation.

”Oustass Omar Mbowe served the school for 21 years without any trace of a bad serving as a father to both the young and old teachers through guidance and counseling.

“Indeed he is an honorable man I believe my staff should copy from his attitude, he has served the school with the fear of Allah”, the principal advised his staff. 

Mr. Assan Joof, the first vice principal applauded him for his selfless service to the school, noting that the man has worked tooth and nail to make sure students are in their various classes during learning hours.

Mr. Ensa Jarju, an English language teacher laments that Oustass Omar Mbowe helped him to adapt to the teaching conduct when he was newly appointed by the Ministry of Education.
