UTG tasked to present report on grade-fiddling allegation

The task to the management came after the Ministry became aware of the trending social media allegations of some UTG staff members tampering with the students’ grades without authorisation.

In a recent press release, the Ministry appeals to the general public, especially the university community, to exercise patience until the Governing Council presents their verdict.

Whilst the Ministry assures the general public that it “will continue to protect the integrity and sanctity” of the University of The Gambia in the interest of the common good, its release added that the UTG is a national asset and its image and reputation must be cherished at all time.

681 accidents occurred from January to date Says Moblie Traffic Boss

Lamin King Colley, the commissioner of Mobile Traffic, has revealed that over 681 road traffic accidents/crashes occurred in the Gambia from January to date, 2022. According to him, out of this number, 109 people died including Gambians and non-Gambians from these accidents.
